Price Revision of Industrial and Medical Gases

Air Liquide Japan G.K. (President and CEO Virginie Cavalli) will revise the selling prices of various industrial and medical gases.

For our deliveries subsequent to January 1 and May 1, 2022, we have asked our customers for a price revision due to the increase in electricity rates caused by the rise in import prices of crude oil and liquefied natural gas, as well as taking into account, pressure on costs for lorry trucks and liquefied gas storage tanks caused by the rise in driver labor costs, transportation costs and steel material costs.

However, with a rapid depreciation of yen, electricity cost and transportation costs still have been continuously and significantly rising since May 2022, which can not be further compensated by our internal efforts.

   

Under these circumstances, we regret to inform you that we will be revising  the prices of our products again from December 1, 2022. At the same time, we will introduce an indexation formula which reflects the fluctuations of electricity cost and transportation costs. 

We hope you will understand that these measures are necessary as we continue to ensure our continued stable delivery of high quality products and services.

　　② Industrial and Medical Package Gas and Mixture Gas (Cylinder and LGC)
